halloween 2009

Here are a few pictures of our Halloween this year. Kurt took the boys around the neighborhood and then I promptly reused the candy they got to hand out to later trick or treaters. Kyle was on Oreo, if you can't tell, and Luke was a bee, although he told people he was Pluto dressed up as a bee.

Happy Birthday Kyle

I know I haven't posted in a few months, but today is Kyle's birthday and I wanted to post a little blog love. I cannot believe he is 2 years old! It seems like we just brought him home from the hospital. I love his personality and his crazy dramatic flare. I love how much he loves his brother and how he is so happy about life. I am so lucky to be his mom!

Mickey!

Disney was so much fun. I don't think I have seen the boys so speechless when we met Mickey. Kyle just kept saying "Mickey!" and Luke just had a huge smile frozen on his face. It was a great day, although it was "hotter than blazes" as my mom put it.

More fun at the beach

The boys really loved the beach. In fact, we couldn't get them to stop playing and look at the camera for a picture. The sand castle was too important, I guess.

Our Florida Trip

We had so much fun going to Florida to visit Grandma and Grandpa Phillips. The boys had so much fun seeing Mickey and swimming in the pool and playing at the beach. It was a long drive, but so worth the fun. Here are a few pictures from our trip. Tank had fun lounging in the pool on the raft. Luke really liked to get in his "wet clothes" and play in the pool and Kyle had so much fun in the sand at the beach.

New Dino PJs

I am a sucker for matching pajamas. I think Kyle is a little concerned about Luke giving him a "hug" (which usually ends in tackling).

Brothers in the basket

Lately our new favorite thing to do is dump out all the toys out of the basket and get inside and sing "Row Row Row Your Boat".  You can see we are in great need of a hair cut. This reminds me of a haircut my dad used to sport in the 1970's.
